That’s the title of the song Jane Kristen Marczewski aka “Nightbirde” sang on the stage of America’s Got Talent (AGT).

I felt sad when I learned of her passing, like the millions of others around the world who were touched by her story, her courage, her pain and her message.

I let the tears flow while watching her AGT performance again, it hurt.

“Sadness is the soul’s way of saying, this mattered,” she said in her last Ted Talks from Bed Talks video.

Jane mattered.

Before her performance at AGT, she was told she had less than a 2% chance of survival. Yet, she was able to make such an impact.

We don’t have to wait till the end is almost upon us before we do the things we ought to do.

A lot of us procrastinate to make an impact, procrastinate to live life until it is almost too late.

It’s OK if you don’t know what to do at the moment, but when you do, just go ahead and make things happen.

Rest in peace Jane “Nightbirdie” Marczewski.
